Dr. Katie Kaufman

Dr. Katie Kaufman
Dr. Katie Kaufman is an optometrist treating patients in the Austin and greater Texas areas. She is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Central Texas Optometric Society. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Kaufman attended Wichita State for one year before transferring to the University of Texas at Austin. She pursued her medical education at the University Of Houston College Of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude. Before beginning her career, she completed extensive internships at Sharp Eye Consultants in San Antonio, Lakeline Vision in Austin, and the University Eye Institute in Houston. <p>Patients visiting Dr. Kaufman can receive a full range of optometric care. She is licensed as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. <p>When she is not treating patients, Dr. Kaufman enjoys swimming, wakeboarding, and spending time with her husband, two children and two dogs.
