Dr. Jason Ortman

Dr. Jason Ortman
Graduating from Ohio State University College of Optometry and receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000, Dr. Ortman then completed a residency in ocular disease and hospital-based optometry at the New Mexico Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque. In addition to primary eye care, Dr. Ortman specializes in hard-to-fit specialty contact lenses and ocular disease.

Dr. Rachel Hasler
Dr Hasler attended the Illinois College of Optometry and received her Doctorate in Optometry. After completing her degree, Dr. Hasler completed a year long residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois College Of Optometry. During that residency she received special training in the treatment and management of advanced ocular disease including urgent ocular problems.

Dr. Courtney Putnam
Dr. Putnam received her Doctorate of Optometry from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and along with routine eyecare and contact lens fitting specializes in disease evaluation/management along with pre/post operative lasik care.

If you are a new contact lens wearer please call the office to schedule your appointment as this requires additional scheduling that can't be made online.

If you require specialty testing, medical follow up appointments, or if you have an eye injury, sudden onset of flashes or floaters or sudden loss of vision, please call the office to schedule your appointment.

Black Diamond Eye Care requires a retinal image to be done at every yearly exam appointment at our Castle Pines and Castle Rock offices. The fee for this amazing image is $39.00. In some cases, we may be able to file this image for you through your insurance.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly give us a 24-hour notice. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a $50.00 fee.
