It includes various tests to evaluate visual acuity, eye muscle function, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The exam also assesses the health of the eye structures, including the cornea, lens, and retina. Overall, a comprehensive eye exam aims to detect vision problems, eye diseases, and other issues that may impact ocular health. Additionally, the Optometrist performs a refraction that measures your glasses prescription.
