HOW THE DIGITAL EXAMS WORK ~ Our digital exam process involves a series of pre-screening tests, with our technician documenting all findings in your chart. Front and behind-the-eye images are taken and uploaded for review by a MA Licensed Optometrist. A certified ophthalmic technician conducts a real-time refraction via high-definition videoconferencing using #2020now advanced digital software. The Optometrist then joins via videoconference to discuss results, eyeglass/contact lens prescriptions, and overall eye condition. The prescription is printed after the exam, and if further evaluation is needed for health issues, a referral is provided, and scheduling is arranged.
