For patients without known eye conditions, this visit includes vision testing for glasses or contact lenses and a full evaluation of your eye health. If you have conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, or dry eye, please select the Medical / Eye Conditions & Concerns option instead. If you're unsure, you can still choose this option and we'll make sure you're scheduled appropriately

Contact Lens Exam

For patients who wear or are interested in contact lenses, this visit includes evaluating your vision, lens fit, and eye health, with prescription updates as needed. If you have an eye condition such as dry eye or other concerns, a Medical Exam - Eye Conditions & Concerns visit is likely more appropriate. If you're unsure, you can still choose this option and we'll make sure you're scheduled appropriately

Description:

If you have any current problems with your eyes like eye pain or discomfort, infection, sudden vision loss, significant redness, or have any pre-existing conditions which affect the eye such as cataracts, glaucoma or diabetes, your services will not be covered by your vision plan and must be filed with your medical insurance.
Because these conditions affect your vision, they need to be evaluated by the doctor in order to provide you the best possible vision in your glasses or contacts.
