If scheduling outside of office hours and you are experiencing an eye emergency, such as an ocular injury, sudden onset or recurrence of flashes of light or floaters, or sudden vision loss, please seek care at the nearest emergency room or urgent eye care facility.
Insurance Coverage: If you are scheduling a routine eye exam or an appointment to update your eyeglass or contact lens prescription, please provide your current vision insurance information. Most medical insurance plans do not cover routine vision care. We are in-network with VSP and most EyeMed vision plans. If you do not have vision coverage, please contact our office to discuss out-of-pocket fees prior to your appointment.
Dilation & Retinal Imaging: Routine comprehensive eye exams require either dilation or retinal imaging. If you prefer not to be dilated, retinal imaging may be available as an alternative depending on your insurance coverage and eligibility.
Appointment Policy: Appointments missed, canceled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $25 fee, which will be applied to your patient account. Patients arriving beyond the office grace period may be required to reschedule based on provider availability.
