Insurance coverage verification requires at least 2 business days. Please schedule accordingly. You are responsible for all charges not covered by your insurance.

For wellness vision exams , we are in network providers for VSP (Vision Service Plan) only.

Medical insurance and Vision Plan coverage are not the same. Medical Insurance covers visits for red eyes, eye pain, double vision, discharge, dry eye, etc. and all medical eye diseases and problems. Vision Plan coverage applies to updating and determining eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions as part of a wellness visit.

We may be in network with your medical insurance, but not your vision plan. Washington Eye Doctors participates in many insurance plans. However, we are not MEDICAID providers.

Annual Contact Lens evaluation fees are in addition to an eye examination and are typically the responsibility of the patient.
